How we found her

We noticed Sierra for the first time hiding behind some trees with swollen breasts meaning she was hiding her newborns.
She is estimated to be around 3 years old.

Sierra needs patient, loving, and probably even experienced people who understand rescue dogs.
Stray dogs like her  have never felt human love, the contrary, most have been abused by humans. Sierra will need a lot of patience, dedication, and love in order to gain confidence and to trust people.
With other dogs, she is completely fine and even with people, she is good but very shy at first. She needs time to open up.

We found Sierra on the streets of Skopje. She had recently given birth and was hiding her babies. Once we found them, we started vaccinating the babies on the streets and have found lovely homes for both of them in Germany. Sierra, though, is still in a kennel, waiting for her family.
Sierra has most likely experienced something terrible on the streets since she has little trust in people. Although we have tried to rehabilitate her with the help of a professional, her biggest fear is still  linked to a harness or a leash.

Foster or Sponsor Sierra

There are other ways of helping our dogs! Fostering increases their chances of finding their perfect match, whereas sponsoring allows us to never worry about how we will collect the necessary monthly funds for food, kennel, and medical bills.
